An honors graduate of Washington State University with over six years of accounting experience, Ken enjoys accounting and the unique challenges that each new client brings. His background includes construction, retail, service, medical, restaurant and wholesale industries. Before starting Clarity, Ken was employed as the controller of an international commodities trading company. Ken also managed a construction company for several years and has been employed in public accounting. He passed all four sections of the CPA exam during one sitting, and is a licensed tax preparer in Oregon. Ken has taken the Enrolled Agent exam, a rigorous two-day examination in tax law. As a certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor, Ken is well versed in all aspects of the program, including new company start-ups, troubleshooting, and year-end issues.

She is committed to expanding his tax & accounting knowledge and has completed several accounting courses at Portland State University & Portland Community College, as well as working as an assistant instructor for a basic tax course. Keely also holds a degree in political science from the University of California Santa Barbara. In addition, Keely is actively involved in many political issues and writes fundraising packages for several national and local not-for-profit organizations.
