Our communities' challenges can be overwhelming. But there are ways to take powerful steps toward creating the kind of future we all want to see, an Oregon with clean air and water, with majestic ancient forests and crystal clear rivers, a state with abundant wildlife and thriving, livable, healthy communities. A place that we would be proud to leave to our children.

Giving to EFO is a simple and effective way to make a difference. EFO is a coalition of 32 non-profit conservation organizations dedicated to preserving Oregon's natural heritage and to bettering the lives of citizens across the state. Our member organizations address a broad range of community concerns, from ensuring we have clean drinking water to eliminating toxins from our air to educating youth about how to protect the natural world around them. A contribution can be designated to a specific EFO member group or divided equally among all 32 groups to impact on a broad range of issues and geographic areas.

EFO's groups work hard every day to address the root causes to some of the most critical challenges. Contributions to EFO help:

• Preserve our last remaining ancient forests, rivers and wildlands
  
  
• Save endangered species from extinction
  
  
• Educate at-risk youth about the natural environment
  
  
• Enhance urban livability by reducing traffic jams and sprawl
  
  
• Promote alternatives to pesticides in homes and on school grounds

By providing a stable source of funding to Oregon's leading non-profit environmental groups, EFO is helping leave a legacy of health and prosperity for our children.
